About The BOOK

Quilt

inspired by Maximo Laura

"Surrounded by Måximo's handiwork, an electrifying spark ignited within me, a curious thought began to swirl around my brain. Could these designs find a home in the world of quilting? The journey would entail finding the right balance - adapting one of the less intricate designs and capturing the characteristic ombré. Ombré is where colours seamlessly transition from light to dark, or from one hue to another. But where would one find such fabric? Could such materials even be procured or would I need to take the dyeing and painting route? More importantly, what would Maximo think about such a strange idea?"
